Parallelogram Waterfall Pavilion
This Parallelogram Waterfall Pavilion by 11th Grader was inspired by Mies Van Der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion. After studying the architectural elements and modern principles of Mies’ Barcelona Pavilion, the student designed their own version using similar elements and principles.
Greenhouse Design
For this project, the 8th grader created and internal and external garden space connected through the interior. The student wanted to design a triangulated greenhouse adjacent to the living room.
Sustainable Residential Design
The student utilized sustainable strategies such as a rainwater collection system, solar panels, shading devices, maximizing daylight and sustainable materials in this project.
Pavilion Design

This Design by an 11th Grader was inspired by Herzog & de Meruon’s Jenga Tower, as well as other similar contemporary structures. After studying the architectural elements and modern principles of the tower, the student designed their own iteration using similar elements on a residential scale.

Floating Folly Design
This is a fly through of a model built by an 8th grader. The student designed and built a number of glass columns and beams to create a folly on a floating barge. (ICAA competition)
House / Residential Design
This house was designed by an eighth grader. The requirements of this design includes a specific set of spaces, a one-story structure, outdoor decks & knowledge of simple construction and roof types.
Column & Courtyard Design
This is a fly through of a model built by a 7th grader. The 7th grader designed and built a number of columns, a colonnade and then a courtyard and garden.
Villa Design
This Design by a 10th Grader was inspired by Le Corbusier’s Villa Savoye and his Five Points of Architecture. After studying the modern principles and modern materials, the student designed their own villa using similar materials & principles.

Tree House Design
This elevated toroidal-shaped house on stilts was designed by a ninth grader. The house surrounds a tree, with windows on the inside so the occupants can enjoy the tree while retaining privacy.
Folly Design
This Folly Design by a 12th Grader was created as a preliminary project to understand the basics of BIM CAD and virtual 3D modeling. The student learned the basic building tools and navigation tools while designing this project.
Column Grid Design
These columns and column grid were designed by a 12th grader. The student decided to create conical column bases as well as reflecting pools in between the grid.
